The Etosha Lodge Safari departs weekly from Windhoek and ends in Swakopmund. There is also a 4 day option to end the tour in Windhoek on day 4.

Day 2: Etosha National Park – overnight outside the park
Day 3: Swakopmund (tour ends on arrival for 3 day option)
Day 4: Windhoek (tour ends on arrival in Windhoek for 4 day option)
Etosha National Park is one of the best game reserves in Africa. It supports one of the most important ecological and wildlife systems on the continent. At 22,270 km sq this huge park is home an impressive collection of game including the white and black rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, giraffe and numerous species of antelope. There are also over 340 species of birds in the park. Enough to keep any nature and wildlife enthusiast happy while on the Etosha lodge safari.
You will be collected from your accommodation this morning and taken to the departure point for the pre-departure talk. Departing Windhoek we head north and make a brief stop in Otjiwarongo for lunch. We enter the Etosha National Park through the Anderson Gate. The afternoon is spent on a game drive through the park visiting waterholes looking for game and birds. Arrival at the lodge will be around sunset. Guests settle into their rooms. All rooms are en-suite bathroom with tea/coffee facilities. The camp has a floodlit waterhole where the animals come to drink from. Spend some time there before or after dinner. Dinner is prepared by your guide over a open fire. (Lunch and Dinner included this day)
The gates to the park opens at sunrise and we wish to be out the camp as the gates open. The predators are active in the early mornings. We will visit the waterholes and hopefully get to see a large variety of animals. We will return to Halali for breakfast. After breakfast we visit the Etosha Pan “great white place” where you can get out of the vehicle and experience this 4500 sq km “saline desert” before continuing your game drive. Lunch will be back at Halali where you can relax in the pool or take a quiet moment at the waterhole. After lunch you will have a chance to relax before our final game drive heads towards Okaukuejo Camp. We will leave the park close to sunset to get to our next overnight lodge. After a early breakfast we take the scenic route to Swakopmund via Damaraland. Meet the Herero women in their surprising wear, selling their crafts. Lunch is served with the view of the Brandberg – Namibia`s highest peak. The last part of the journey is along the Skeleton Coast. There is one small shipwreck we can explore along the way. Arrival in Swakopmund will be mid afternoon. You will be dropped at your accommodation of choice if you are doing the 3 day tour. Accommodation is included in twin share en-suite rooms for travellers doing the 4 day tour. (Breakfast and Lunch included).
Swakopmund is known as the adrenaline capital of Namibia. There will be some time to partake in some of these activities if you so wish. On day 4 there will be time to visit the Walvis Bay Lagoon to view flamingos and pelicans in large numbers. Lunch will be served en-route to Windhoek. Arrival in Windhoek will be mid afternoon.
