Found in the remote region of Namibia’s Kasika Conservancy, Chobe Water Villas is a luxurious, boutique lodge that is located on the banks of the Chobe River and overlooking the famous Chobe National Park. It is in close proximity to the confluence of the Zambezi and Chobe Rivers, which provide borders to Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia.
Guests can only get to the lodge through the Kasane Immigration office, where they are then taken on a boat trip across to the lodge. Just on this quick trip, there are already numerous opportunities for wildlife viewing. Once at the lodge, guests will have the pleasure of looking over the famous Sedudu Island, which is flush with elephant, hippo, crocodile, buffalo and hundreds of different bird species.
Thatched main area of the lodge is shady and looks out over the garden. The deck and the infinity pool offer the best views to enjoy a cold drink, the classy cocktail lounge and bar area offer a different option. A private library offers many books for guests and there is also a cosy restaurant and fireside boma.
There is also 16 seater boardroom complete with large screen TV and internet for meetings.

Under thatch and open to the gardens, the main lodge overlooks the infinity pool and pool deck and features an intimate 36 seat Restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a cosy Cocktail Bar & Lounge as well as the private Library Lounge with its complimentary all day tea & coffee Butler Station.
Outdoor Wining & Dining:
The pool deck with its Chobe River views features areas for Dining, Lounging, Sunbathing or Socializing around open fires. Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon High Tea, Sun-Downer Drinks and Dinner can be enjoyed outdoors. A special feature is the two river view conversation pits each with an open campfire.
Breakfasts are a combination of cold dishes from a buffet and served hot dishes from the kitchen.
Lunches are alfresco hot & cold buffets presenting a fusion of African and Mediterranean dishes.
Dinners are 3-course plated and served candle-lit meals
Afternoon High Tea is a selection of teas and coffees served with cakes, scones, pastries and savoury snacks/sandwiches.
Apart from activities included in Room Rates, the following excursions can be reserved at the Lodge’s ADVENTURE & ACTIVITY DESK located in the Library Lounge. Subject to availability, the choice of four activities included in the daily Villa Rate (2 per night booked – see above) can be exchanged for A, B and C below or their value can be credited against D, E, F, G and H below.
